A lot of the buildings in Longford were made by convicts and as such Longford is classified as an historic town. There are three historic churches in the area. One is the Church of Christ (pictured above).
Woolmers Estate is Australia's most historic family estate; it is open to the public with scheduled guided tours. The gardens are known to include over 100 varieties of roses.
The Wildlife park in Longford has many native Australian animals. Craft shops are also in the Longford area.
