Corinna is a small town on the west coast of Tasmania, situated north-west of Zeehan. It was originally a gold mining town. The largest gold nugget found in Tasmania weighed more than 240 oz. and was found near the town during the 1880's.
Corinna's main attraction is the surrounding wilderness. Water skiing and fishing are two activities for visitors and locals alike. Visitors can choose to indulge in a relaxing Pieman River cruise. You can also try your luck at Panning for Gold along the river's edge!
